Honored to be Named Among Georgia’s 50 Most Influential Latinos from GHCC

We are thrilled to announce that our Founder and CEO, Dr. Rony Delgarde, has been named among the “50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia – 2025” by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This distinction is not only a moment of personal pride, but a celebration of the entire community behind Global Paint for Charity (GPC) — our team, volunteers, board, partners, donors, and the global network of recipients who bring our mission to life.
For fifteen years, GPC has operated at the intersection of sustainability and social impact, redirecting surplus paint into vibrant classrooms, shelters, and homes. This honor highlights the importance of inclusive leadership and underscores the influence of under-recognized change-makers across business, nonprofit, and community sectors. The GHCC’s list of honorees includes thought-leaders in business, healthcare, technology, arts, government, and sports — professionals such as Misty S. Fernandez of Georgia Power, John F. King (Georgia Insurance & Safety Fire Commissioner), and Louis Enrique Negron Sr. (CEO, 100 Black Men of Atlanta) who serve as powerful anchors in their communities.
Dr. Delgarde reflected, “I am truly grateful and honored to be named one of Georgia’s 50 Most Influential Latinos for 2025. This recognition is not mine alone; it belongs to our stakeholders, advisors, board of directors, sponsors, partners, team, and volunteers who have supported GPC’s mission for the past fifteen years. Every milestone is a testament to the resilience of our volunteers, supporters, partners, and donors whose in-kind and financial contributions make our work possible.”

He added: “We also dedicate this honour to our business partners across Latin America — in Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Panama and Costa Rica — where our paint has helped beautify schools, renovate homes and bring dignity and hope to families.”

We also dedicated this award to GPC’s international partners across Latin America — in Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Costa Rica — where donated paint has been used to revitalize schools, renovate homes, and restore community pride.
We extend our deepest thanks to the GHCC for this distinction and congratulate all fellow awardees and recent Hall-of-Fame inductees, including Brenda Lopez Romero and Bob Jimenez, for their remarkable leadership. The ceremony at Truist Park in Atlanta drew hundreds of civic, business, and community leaders and spotlighted the collective contribution of Georgia’s Latino community.

As GPC moves forward, we recognize this not just as an honor, but as a renewed commitment— build on our seventy-plus local and global partnerships, deepen our impact, and continue creating brighter, more equitable spaces for all. Together, we will turn colour into community; reuse into renewal; and recognition into action.
