In the past, we painted the Caridad Apartments for homeless veterans in downtown Las Vegas, the Peachtree-Pine homeless shelter in Midtown Atlanta, The Empire Board of Realtists, Inc. building in Westside Atlanta, the Caryville Work Camp Buildings in Caryville, GA, the Nevada Homes for Youth Inc in Las Vegas, and The LGBT Center of southern Florida, to name a few.

This year, we have selected Project 150 in North Las Vegas. The organization offers numerous services for homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged youths, providing free clothing, food, hygiene products, and supplies to disadvantaged high school students in Southern Nevada. The best part of the project is the students and recipients designed the mural at the Project 150 building, which will be painted on July 4th, from 9 am-2 pm!

Big thanks to Sherwin-Williams for their generous donation of paint and supplies!!! We at the GPC are grateful for your partnership.

Global Paint for Charity Inc. (AKA “GPC” or “Global Paint”) is a non-governmental organization that collects discarded Latex paint from businesses, residents, and manufacturers that would otherwise end up in the waste stream. Instead, we provide the products to needy charities and vulnerable individuals in developing countries around the world and target domestic communities in the United States. Through our Paint Project & Beautification Programs, we have worked with local youth, community groups, and volunteers from many corporations to paint for elderly seniors and widows, veterans, and the homeless in neglected areas within our local communities. At Global Paint for Charity, we believe a coating of paint on the walls can have a significant, positive, and powerful impact on people’s lives for many years.

We can only do important work like this with your support. If you want to help Global Paint for Charity’s mission of protecting the environment while assisting underserved communities around the globe, contact Global Paint at 855-853-7772 or info@globalpaints.org or help fund our vital work by donating here.

Earth Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide in April to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970 and included events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries. It may be hard to imagine that before 1970, a factory could spew black clouds of toxic smoke into the air or dump tons of hazardous and toxic waste into landfills, which was perfectly legal. There was no Clean Air Act, no U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), no Clean Water Act, and most importantly, no legal or regulatory guidelines or tools to protect our environment. They could not be taken to court to stop illegal dumping.

Recycling is good for the earth, so in honor of the 2023 Earth Day event, Global Paint and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful encourages you to protect our planet and not abuse it. Please check our TAKE ACTION page for information about organizing a Paint Drive in your community, or to learn more, visit www.globalpaints.org -TAKE ACTION!!
