Global Paint for Charity Attends the 2025 USGLC Global Impact Forum in Washington, D.C.|

Global Paint for Charity’s leadership team proudly joined the 2025 USGLC Global Impact Forum this past June in Washington, D.C.. This powerful platform brought together policymakers, business leaders, military officials, and nonprofits to discuss America’s role on the global stage and how smart U.S. foreign assistance can make a difference both at home and abroad.

We are especially proud to congratulate our Founder and CEO, Dr. Rony Delgarde, for his impactful leadership in representing Nevada as an Advisory Committee Member for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC). Dr. Delgarde was honored to join the Nevada state delegation to lobby in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives on Capitol Hill, advocating for increased investment in U.S. international assistance programs and bipartisan solutions to today’s complex foreign policy challenges.

This year’s Forum centered around a timely and urgent theme:
“What it Takes for America to Lead, Compete, and Win in an Increasingly Complicated World.”
As the global landscape becomes more fragile and unpredictable, from climate emergencies to economic volatility, migration crises to cybersecurity threats, U.S. leadership abroad is more essential than ever. Global Paint for Charity remains a firm believer that the U.S. can safeguard its national interests and global stability by leveraging all elements of national power, including humanitarian assistance, diplomacy, defense, and sustainable development.

Dr. Delgarde’s participation in this year’s Forum was more than ceremonial, it was strategic and meaningful. He met with several influential leaders to discuss the intersection of environmental sustainability, global aid, and national security. During the event, Dr. Delgarde engaged in thoughtful conversations with:

Representative Young Kim (R-CA), Co-Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee

General Keith B. Alexander, former Director of the National Security Agency and Commander of U.S. Cyber Command

General Laura J. Richardson, Commander of U.S. Southern Command

Various elected officials, foreign policy experts, and congressional staffers committed to a strong and principled American foreign policy.

These discussions explored how Global Paint’s mission, to recover leftover paint and use it to transform underserved communities around the world, aligns with larger U.S. objectives: reducing poverty, promoting democracy and stability, and creating sustainable infrastructure in vulnerable regions.

Throughout the Forum, USGLC leaders emphasized the importance of international assistance programs that not only uplift communities abroad but also create jobs, open markets, and reinforce security for American families. These are the very values Global Paint was founded on. Through partnerships with military units like SouthCom Command and humanitarian missions in 44 countries, our organization is a proud example of how American generosity, innovation, and environmental action can produce life-changing results.

Dr. Delgarde also used the opportunity to share success stories from Global Paint’s work across the globe, showcasing how recycled paint has beautified schools, empowered female entrepreneurs, supported climate resilience, and brought hope to disaster-stricken regions. It was a meaningful moment to bridge local community action with high-level policy advocacy.

The Power of Advocacy and Presence

This year’s Global Impact Forum demonstrated that showing up matters. Having our CEO and founder on Capitol Hill, meeting with decision-makers and contributing to critical conversations, reflects Global Paint for Charity’s growing influence in global development and sustainability policy. Dr. Delgarde’s leadership at the event underscored our commitment to doing more than painting buildings; we paint a vision for a better, more connected, and more compassionate world.

We extend our deepest thanks to the USGLC team for hosting such a purposeful and timely event and for giving grassroots organizations like ours a seat at the table. We especially thank the Nevada delegation for welcoming Dr. Delgarde into this high-level conversation and recognizing the importance of environmental sustainability and community development in today’s foreign policy priorities.
