Thank You Bear Mountain Painting for Your Continued Support
Our donors are heroes to the thousands of people whose life changes every day through our initiatives, Bear Mountain Custom Painting is one of them. Their passion for our cause and unshakeable commitments has helped us bring hopes back to many underserved communities around the world.
Bear Mountain Custom Painting is a locally owned painting company. They provide residential painting and home remodeling services in the metro area. This company has managed to establish itself as an organization that understands its customer’s needs and assists them at every touchpoint with the most impressive solutions from start to finish. They treat every project with utmost care and professionalism. When it comes to environmental stewardship, they know their responsibility well and ensure that leftover paint and paint materials are properly disposed of, something that made their management drawn towards Global Paint Charity and its mission.
The Partnership
This decade-old partnership between Global Paint and Bear Mountain Painting has built on mutual respect, trust, and support. Since 2011, through this partnership, while working towards a common goal, together, we have made a substantial difference in the communities. We are lucky to be guided by Bear Mountain Painting’s co-founder Rob Kozuch and president Sonja Kozuch every step of the way. Sonja had a big heart and was known for her altruistic values. She had organized many community food pantries and soup kitchens. She also tutored illiterate adults and mentored disadvantaged youth, being a Big Sister, and a foster parent.(“Helping the Community Thrive”, Bear Mountain Painting).
Sonja supported our mission throughout her life, donated her leftover paint from projects, and made generous financial contributions supporting our cause for various ongoing projects. She loved loading her truck full of paint and delivering it to our drop-off center in Norcross. Even after she passed away in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of caring and kindness, we remember her as a great partner who always inspired us to give back to our community in every possible way.
We are grateful to Rob and Sonja for enriching us with your remarkable vision and inspiring commitment to the upliftment of the downtrodden section of our community.
Impact created by the donations
The paint and financial donations go a long way in our efforts to get more paint to those in need, and change lives in many communities around the world, creating a win-win for everyone.
A very few of us are aware that our left-over paint falls under the category of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW). Dumping it in the trash bin or landfill may cause irreversible damage to our bodies and the environment. Global Paint accepts what you usually treat as waste and recycle it to help many schools, homes for senior citizens and disabled, child care centers, etc, with a fresh coat of paint. 1 gallon of recycled paint saves 100 kilowatt-hours of energy and keeps 115 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the air. (“How to Recycle Paint”,Earth911)
The generous donations (paint and financial contributions) we receive from organizations like Bear Mountain Painting, keep our projects running year-round, irrespective of any situation. We offer Tax Savings, Storage Savings, Disposal Savings. With your tax-deductible financial donation, we can handle the logistics of the paint and assist those in need around the world.
